PCS has a reciprocal hot-site backup agreement with Cooperative Services, Inc. (CSI) in Atlanta, GA. CSI is a CUSO owned by several large GA credit unions and managed by the GA Credit Union Affiliates. CSI utilizes the same hardware and software configurations that PCS does, facilitating a seamless hot-site process for both organizations. We test our hot-site processes annually with CSI. In the event we ever needed to utilize CSI's check processing facilities, the credit union may experience a one day delay in receiving its daily share draft transmission and settlement. If this is the case, we will reimburse the credit union for any lost income due to additional float. In a disaster situation where we lose our main processing center, it may take up to 2 weeks to recreate our image database. During this time, staff and members would not have access to online image retrieval.
